  1. What is the intent of MySkillsFuture and Training Exchange?

    MySkillsFuture is a one-stop Portal offering a suite of features that can empower Singaporeans to make informed learning and career choices throughout life.

    Training Exchange is one of MySkillsFuture Portal’s main features, and is designed to be an interactive platform for individuals to search for courses offered by Training Providers and Public Agencies. Individuals can use the Training Exchange’s search engine to effectively find courses based on course titles, Training Providers, area of training, job roles and skills.

  2. What is the difference between the existing SkillsConnect (SCN) Course Directory, the SkillsFuture Credit Course Directory and the new Training Exchange?

    With SCN Course Directory, individuals, employers and Training Providers can search for courses that are accredited under the Singapore Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) system, and courses that are not under WSQ but funded by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG).

    With SkillsFuture Credit Portal and Course Directory, individuals can search for relevant skills-based courses and submit their SkillsFuture Credit claims. Some courses listed on the SkillsFuture Credit Portal can also be found in the SCN Course Directory.

    With the launch of the MySkillsFuture Portal, the SkillsFuture Credit Course Directory will be integrated into MySkillsFuture and be known as Training Exchange.

    The new Training Exchange has enhanced features such as:

    • Course Search
    • Shortlist courses using the sort and filter function
    • Share courses on Facebook and Twitter
    • Course information and details
    • Training Provider information
    • Individual’s dashboard

  3. Should I refer to the SCN Course Directory or the Training Exchange for the most updated course information (for example, course title/course fee) before registration?

    Both the SCN Course Directory and Training Exchange will reflect the same information. However, individuals should refer to the Training Exchange for more individual-centric information and features.

  4. Are all courses in the Training Exchange eligible for SkillsFuture Credit?

    When a course is eligible for SkillsFuture Credit, you will be able to see the “Claim SkillsFuture Credit” button on the course detail page.

  5. I am interested in a course listed on the Training Exchange. Can I utilise my SkillsFuture Credit for it?

    Yes, you will be able to submit your SkillsFuture Credit claims via MySkillsFuture for the course that you have registered for. Log in to your individual profile with your SingPass and submit a claim under “SkillsFuture Credit”. You should also be able to view your account summary (available credit and claim status) in this section.

    Alternatively, you may submit a claim via the course detail page in Training Exchange. Go to the course detail page of the course that you have registered for and click “Claim SkillsFuture Credit” to submit your claim.

  6. Will Training Exchange display course details in other languages?

    Currently, there are no plans to include other languages.

  7. If there are no upcoming course dates for a course I’m looking at, does it mean that the Training Provider is no longer running the course?

    Please contact the Training Provider to find out more information if no course dates are listed. You may contact the Training Provider through the phone or email contact provided on the Training Provider profile page, or send a direct email enquiry through the ”Send an Enquiry” link on the course detail page.

  1. How will the Training Exchange benefit Training Providers?

    Training Exchange will help Training Providers improve customer outreach and enhance training effectiveness.

    • Improve outreach
      • A free platform for Training Providers to publish SkillsFuture Credit-eligible courses
      • An avenue to reach out to all Singapore Citizens eligible for SkillsFuture Credit and Singapore Permanent Residents searching for courses
      • Tertiary students above 15 years old (including both foreign students, Singapore Citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents) will also have access to the MySkillsFuture Portal, expanding the potential reach
    • Enhance your branding
      • Display your organisation’s profile, trainers’ profiles and course information
      • Showcase your testimonials and awards on your training programmes and trainers 
    • Gain insights to develop new and creative ideas
      • Access the Training Provider Dashboard, which gives you an overview of your courses

  2. What are the features in the new Training Provider Dashboard?

    • Administrators can upload organisation and course information easily
    • Course Administrators can log in directly to the MySkillsFuture Portal to upload additional course information, such as schedule, location, course fee and brochure.
    • Training Provider Administrators can create, edit and remove public information on the MySkillsFuture Portal, such as company information, testimonials, awards and trainer information.
    • View and download reports containing information such as the number of courses set to receive alerts, number of page views on all courses and number of course enquiries received
  3. Will MySkillsFuture replace SkillsConnect (SCN)?

    No, MySkillsFuture will not replace SkillsConnect (SCN). SCN has different functions from MySkillsFuture.

    SCN allows training organisations to submit the Singapore Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) and non-WSQ courses for SkillsFuture Singapore’s (SSG) funding assessment. SCN also allows employers and training organisations to apply and claim for training grants.

  4. Where is the log out button?

    Bring up the user menu by clicking on the orange user button, which displays your name, at the top right corner of the screen. The logout button is the last item in the dropdown user menu list.
